Are you in need of a refresh or update in your kitchen or bathroom? Do you want to keep your existing layout and cabinetry but need guidance on how to use what you have in a new and innovative way? Let Tessa use her expertise to get you started! This multifaceted package will give you all the information you need to create a beautiful and cohesive design concept for your home!

The Process —

  • Step 1: Questionnaire

    This initial questionnaire draws a clear picture of your wants and needs, as well as, identifies the overall scope of your project, while allowing us to determine if we are a good fit for your project.

  • Step 2: Discovery Call

    Our initial discovery call gives us an opportunity to discover more about you and your wish list as well as setting goals and a budget. Together, we’ll talk through your space and offer ideas that will help you understand the scope of the project; while YOU get to pick our brain and ask us any and all of your design questions.

  • Step 3: In-Home Consultation + Measurements

    This consultation is a series of 3 visits to your home.
    For the first visit, Tessa will come to your home for an initial walk-through of your space -- she calls it a “Dream or Idea Session”. Together you’ll discuss your space, any changes you’d like to make, and talk about inspiration images and what your vision is for your new space.

  • Step 4: Conceptualizing of Design

    Following your in-home consultation with Tessa, you will dive deeper with her to help discover and explore your design wants and needs. In this stage of the design development, we will hone in on and build upon your personal Pinterest boards initially to uncover your individual style. Tessa will also use this time to pull together personalized moodboards with material preferences, color palettes, and inspiration imagery to ensure that everyone is on the same page before moving onto the next phase of the design process.

  • Step 6: Design Presentation + Material Selections

    After all information has been gathered, Tessa will schedule a second meeting to present all aspects of the project as well as her recommendations for moving forward. During this meeting Tessa will provide you with material selections, conceptual furnishings, fixtures and finishes, renderings and drawings of your new kitchen or bathroom so that you can visualize the beautiful end result.

  • Step 5: Trades Day

    Tessa will schedule a third visit to bring in her tradesmen and women to walk through what it will take to execute a remodel - we call this our "trades day".

    *There will be additional costs if we need a structural engineer report for the project

In the end, you’ll have:

  • → Actual material samples selected by tessa specific to your style, wants and dreams for your project (tile, countertop, cabinet finishes).

  • → An actual bid and investment figures from our talented tradesmen and women who will be working on your project so that you know and understand what it costs to do what you are looking to do.

  • → Design insight driven by Tessa

  • → Conceptual design board to display your kitchen project on a cohesive level throughout.

  • → Guidance, feedback and insight from Tessa on how to proceed with the project so that you are comfortable, confident and knowledgeable about your project.

    * Oftentimes, our clients go on to schedule their project with us, but sometimes, our clients just need to use this time to gather information to see if this project is something they can (or even want to) do. Either way, we are thrilled to help you with this phase of your design project and we are on your team and want to help however we can!

Refresh Consultations start at $2500

After you fill out the questionnaire linked below, we will have a Discovery Call, followed by a scheduled Dream Session walk-through where you will meet with Tessa in your home. Tessa will send a recap of what was discussed after the walkthrough and the next steps will be given on how you will work together. We aim to be transparent and honest with the expectations to have when planning a kitchen or bathroom refresh. The average bathroom refresh tends to cost around $5-15k and the average kitchen refresh tends to cost around $30-60k.
