Virtual Consultation

Whether your project is a gut renovation or a room in need of a refresh, Tessa can guide you in creating a fully-realized space that you’ll love living in. You can show your space over video, put together a presentation with photos and/or links to walk through over screen-share, or simply chat and take notes. The time is yours to use however is most helpful for you. The countless decisions of home design tend to be time-consuming and costly: booking a virtual consultation makes the process easier – and more fun! 

The Process —

  • Step 1: Questionnaire

    This initial questionnaire draws a clear picture of your wants and needs, as well as, identifies the overall scope of your project, while allowing us to determine if we are a good fit for your project.

  • Step 2: Discovery Call

    Our initial discovery call gives us an opportunity to discover more about you and your wish list as well as setting goals and a budget. Together, we’ll talk through your space and offer ideas that will help you understand the scope of the project; while YOU get to pick our brain and ask us any and all of your design questions.

  • Step 3: Prepare Images, Measurements & Questions

    At least 48 hours prior to your video call with Tessa you will email her: 1.) pictures of your space (from every angle), 2.) Basic room measurements for size reference, and 3.) any links to inspiration boards you have (i.e. Pinterest boards).

  • Step 4: Schedule 30 Minute Zoom Call

    Virtual consultations take place on zoom video calls. Prior to the scheduled consultation, you will receive a link via email to join the video call where you will be met by Tessa. From there, you’ll be able to show your space (via zoom screen-share or over video), ask questions and get feedback/advice. There is not a set structure for how you utilize your time; consultations are meant to be collaborative and tailored to your needs and taste.

    You are able to show your space in real time using the camera on the device you’re taking the call from. Many find it easier and more efficient to gather photos of their space into a document, which can be sent via email to Tessa, to review during the consultation. You can also provide additional imagery using zoom’s screen share feature.

How to best prepare for your consultation:

  • → Preparation can be as minimal or thorough as you feel is necessary to accomplish your goals from the consultation. Generally, Tessa suggests putting together a simple document or presentation that includes photos of the spaces you need help with and questions you’d like answered. Some people also include inspiration images, furniture/decor being considered, or floor plans / drawings, etc.

  • → Get pumped! This is such a huge step in helping you create the cohesive space of your dreams! This is something to be proud of!

Virtual Consultations start at $150

After you fill out the questionnaire linked below, we will have a Discovery Call, followed by a 30 or 60 minute zoom call where you will meet with Tessa virtually. Depending on the type of virtual consult you select, Tessa will send your individualized moodboard after the zoom call.
