Meet The Kirby’s

We’re Tessa & Guy…

college sweethearts, raising four kids in a 1920s Craftsman we’re slowly and lovingly bringing back to life. What started as a fixer-upper has grown into something much bigger: a layered home, full of stories, family traditions, and a fair amount of sawdust.

Together, we’ve built Kindred into more than just a house project. Guy leads Kindred Construction, restoring and building with his hands, while Tessa shares the heart and style of Kindred Homestead. From greenhouse dreams and café corners to local main street projects, we’re creating spaces and stories that feel both timeless and lived-in. This little corner of the internet is where all of it comes together—home, family, and the everyday inspiration to love where you are, right now.
