This Week at Our Home

Lately, I’ve been thinking about the little things that make a house feel like home. Gathering around the table for ordinary dinners, making small seasonal changes, and finding thoughtful pieces that feel like they’ve always belonged.

There’s something about sitting down together at the end of a busy day that feels worth protecting. Nothing fancy or perfectly planned, just passing the food, sharing stories, and catching up around the table. I’ve been loving the dining room even more lately, especially with those collected details that make the space feel warm and lived-in. I’ve linked our dining room sources for anyone looking to bring a little more of that feeling into their own home.

In the kitchen, it’s often the smaller details that make the biggest difference. A few hardworking favorites, beautiful hardware, and lighting that feels right for the space can completely change how a room comes together. Our kitchen favorites and the Rejuvenation pieces that have earned a place in our home are all linked for those looking to make a few thoughtful updates of their own.

For fall, I’ve been taking the same approach to seasonal decorating: layer into what you already love. In the girls’ pink room, warmer bedding, seasonal florals, and a few cozy textures were all it took to give the space a fresh feel without starting over. Sometimes a little refresh is all a room needs, and I’ve been keeping a few new finds in my cart that follow that same collected, timeless feeling.

We also celebrated Rozalyn with a craft night birthday party that turned into one of my favorite celebrations yet. Cosmetic bag decorating, seashell trinket dishes, an outdoor movie, and an impromptu late-night swim made for the sweetest kind of memories. The girls had the best time creating together, and I linked the craft supplies for anyone planning a creative birthday or girls’ night of their own.

And now, naturally, my mind is beginning to wander toward Christmas. I’m drawn to pieces that feel collected rather than brand-new, with the kind of warmth and character that makes holiday decorating feel personal. I’ve been gathering cozy, collected Christmas finds that mix beautifully with the things we already have and feel like they could be part of our home for years to come.

A home comes together over time, through the pieces we choose, the traditions we keep, and the ordinary moments that happen in between. Lately, I’m finding myself wanting a little more of all of it. More gathering, more making, more thoughtful layers, and more of the everyday things that make home feel like home. 🤎

As always, thank you for being here and for making this such a beautiful, thoughtful community. I’m truly so grateful for each of you.
