There are moments I wish I could step back into, even just for a second—freeze them, hold them, live inside them a little longer. Lately, I’ve been trying to notice the small, sacred things before they pass—the extra snuggle, the “one more kiss,” the quiet, ordinary moments that end up meaning everything. And it’s in moments like these that I’m reminded: this is what matters most.
So this week’s recap especially rooted in that—simple things, meaningful finds, and small favorites that are quietly becoming part of our everyday life.
This Week at Our Home
I’m still going strong on my Whole 30 journey, and while it has been an adjustment, it’s much easier with delicious recipes like these meatballs the whole family LOVES.
Lately, I’ve noticed that same shift showing up in other areas too—simplifying, going back to what feels good, and leaning into the everyday pieces that just work.
I am forever a fan of go-to basics for my clothing. Something so simple about a white tee and a great pair of jeans! But with the seasons changing, it is fun to think about new style finds and layers for the hopefully warm days ahead!
In My Cart this Week
Though it isn’t quite hot yet, the weather is finally changing enough to inspire some outdoor styling. I am so excited- I’ve started ordering some new spring layers for outside (like fresh outdoor rugs, butter yellow gingham seat cushions, our new faux topiaries, and more favorites all on Amazon!) I cannot wait for simple yet intentional outdoor gatherings this season - especially near the greenhouse!
With May on the horizon, Mother’s Day will be here before we know it. I’ve got a handful of gifts to still snag before getting together with family but I’ve got a good list of Mother’s Day gift ideas to choose from!
There’s something about this time of year that always has me leaning into that Nancy Meyers feeling—spaces that are layered, lived-in, and effortlessly beautiful, both indoors and out. The same pieces I’m reaching for outside are inspiring what I’m gifting this season too… thoughtful, timeless finds that feel just as special as they are practical.
