When working full-time with clients, one reoccurring pain-point I would often hear was about fixtures. Namely light fixtures. So I wanted to do a deep dive into our dining room light fixtures and explain why we chose them, where they’re from, and why I chose the finishes that I did.

I knew I wanted some sort of wall texture (whether that be vertical paneling, recessed paneling, or board and batten) and I wanted wallpaper. As I did a little more soul searching I ultimately came back to recessed paneling for it’s sheer timelessness and the likelihood that it would have been found in a home during this era.
