Pennsylvania Tudor Flip House

We’ve been keeping this house a secret since the beginning of the summer and for no other reason than we have just been so incredibly busy with the Fogal flip and client projects that we have had zero time to update you on this beauty. This 100 year old English Tudor was built in the early 1900s on what’s been nicknamed “Professor’s Drive” located on the University of Illinois’ campus in Urbana. We acquired this home rather suddenly this summer and like many of the homes we flip, it doesn’t come without it’s……issues. We have yet to get experience a home that doesn’t come without it’s fair share of…..”quirks,” (we’ll call them that) but we love them all the same.

We found out that the reason this home was being sold for such a steal was because of the water damage that had occurred when a pipe burst in the upstairs bathroom flooding a large portion of the main level. But where others see destruction, we see potential and are so excited to restore this home to its former glory with a few “minor” upgrades to make it that much better.

Take a look at this character and tell me you can’t see it :)

We are truly so so blessed to be able to give this beautiful home a second chance and as always, love taking all of you along with us! Email us with any questions you might have about this property at hello@kindredhomestead.com.
