I wanted this space to be one that reflected neutrality, and comfort while still reflecting affordability. I know how expensive these spaces can be and that is why I hope to share with you some of my buying secrets so you too can achieve an affordable space like this!

For the longest time I was wanting to do floor to ceiling board and batten walls and so when it came time to start thinking about nursery details I called in a favor from my hubby to make this vision come to life. And like always, he did NOT disappoint. We will be doing a tutorial soon here so that you guys can take the board and batten plunge if your heart so desires!

You know when you’ve been staring at the same thing for so long that after a while you just need to change it up for it to not look so…THE SAME anymore!? Well, that is exactly what happened to me with our living room; after a deep cleaning day GONE WRONG, I decided it was time for a change.

2017 has been a year for the books, I am amazed at all that transpired in such a short amount of time. But what I’m most amazed by is our total kitchen renovation.

This drop cloth curtain project was the easiest, cheapest, and quickest project I have ever done! If you need a quick and easy (not to mention affordable) window treatment, this is your answer!

If you've been following me around here for a while you know that we are in the midst of a FULL BLOWN kitchen renovation. That means that we literally tore down every (and I mean EVERY) inch of the existing kitchen...and then some, to make this kitchen our dream kitchen. Sure that may sound pretty amazing, but actually enduring it is a completely different string of emotions. 

Bear with me friends as I know this is NOT my usual Sunday routine! I just could not get a video out in time this week for the life of me. My excuse? Well I have many :) But I'll stick with the basic..."trying to get my head on straight" one for now. We never could have imagined selling our home within 12 hours of listing it and we feel it only confirms our decision to move!
