Farmhouse Style Kids Room Reveal

When we bought this 1920s farmhouse this fall, I was MOST excited to decorate Justus' room. I looked up and down Pinterest for inspiration and luckily found it in a few small corners of the internet. Immediately I began buying and eyeing pieces that would fit perfectly in this space.

Take a peak inside this farmhouse style kids room. All sources listed at the bottom of this post.

A lot of these pieces I found antiquing OR off the side of the street :) This HUGE dresser actually came from the side of the street...my husband now knows me well enough that when he see's something like this lying on the curb...he picks it up.

I refinished this one with my favorite Amy Howard chalk paint, cleaned up the hardware and that's all she wrote. I love it's modern yet rustic charm.

This chair is actually incredibly special. It was my grandmas Sunday school chair as a little girl. I love how perfectly it fits in this space.

This ladder detail is the easiest thing ever. I actually found a HUGE wooden ladder on the side of the street, we cut it in half and for this half we got these baskets and just screwed some screws on the side for them to sit on. It's the perfect place to hold all of his trains and cars!

These curtains are DIY and I have a whole post dedicated to them coming VERY SOON!

I thrifted these sweet little wheels while visiting my family up in Michigan. Once I saw them I just KNEW they'd be the perfect addition to his room.

I hope you loved this reveal as much as I loved putting it together! To get all the product sources you can shop the post below! If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them in the comments section below! Thanks for stopping by! xoxo, Tessa
