We Sold Our Flip House!!
I realized today, as I was cleaning, packing, and preparing for our upcoming moving sale (see all the details HERE) that I NEVER updated everyone on the status of our flip house. Which I feel awful about since, well...A LOT has happened in a short period of time. I just haven't been able to keep up with it all!
Funny story...we listed our flip house on the market Saturday, July 22nd and to celebrate the finishing, and listing of our FIRST investment flip we invited our close family and friends over the following evening (July 23nd) for a small gathering to showcase all that had been done. The morning of the event as I was preparing everything I remember Guy saying to me:
"Wouldn't it be so cool if when everyone gets to the house tonight we could have a 'SOLD' sign in the front yard?"
Now, mind you...the house hadn't even been on the market for 24 hours at this point in time. So I laughed...HARD! We had one offer come through the first day but to be honest...we didn't think our negotiations would even close to coming together by the event that evening.
So I headed out to the flip house and began prepping for our party....
But before I even got to the house, my hubby called me and confirmed that we had an ACCEPTED OFFER!!! So in 30 hours we had listed and sold our flip house AND to Guy's surprise (and mine) we got to put a SOLD sign up in the front yard before all our friends/family got there so we could surprise them all with the exciting news! That night was so very perfect!
Thanks to everyone that came out that night to celebrate with us, and to everyone that poured out all of their well wishes to us during the whole project! We close on the house August 25th and will be ready for our next flip! :)
We feel so incredibly blessed by this entire opportunity and we cannot wait to show you our next adventure!
