Farmhouse Living Room Reveal

HAPPY DECEMBER! Today I'm sharing with you one of my favorite rooms in the house...our living room!

The first time I walked into this house, this is the room I saw, and the minute I saw this room I fell fast in love with all its character and charm. Right then and there I began to envision it's beauty; and today I am so excited to share with you it's final transformation. If you haven't already, check out all the "before" pictures HERE. I've since painted the fireplace and my husband ripped up the carpet and refinished the floors.

Take a peak at what my kids call "the white room." I hope you love it as much as we do!

In the entry way of the home there's a leaded glass window that casts the most beautiful broken rainbows throughout this room. I caught a few in the pictures if you look closely. It's been one of the kids favorite things to dance around.

Want to see how I made these curtains?? You don't even need to know how to sew either! Check out the tutorial HERE!

I redid this $70 buffet I got off of craigslist when we lived at our old house, best decision I ever made! Check out the full tutorial HERE!

Each of these sofas were under $400!! Can you believe that?? And they are slipcovered so I can wash them whenever I need, not to mention change them out if I get sick of them! That's a WIN WIN if I've ever seen one!

The candlesticks were another really fun DIY project I did with my hubby! Check out how to make them HERE!

I hope you enjoyed this little tour of our farmhouse living room! If you liked it, be sure to check out our children's farmhouse bedroom reveal below! And as always, thanks for stopping by! xoxo, Tessa
