Our Office Progress & What's Next

If you’ve been following us for a while you know that last year we decided to convert our then TV room into an office for our business. And while we stood in the planning phase FOREVER, we finally have a fully functioning office space but like ANYTHING…there are still so many little things that need to come together before I will consider this space completely finished. But before we get into that, take a walk down memory lane with me and check out the video below to see how far this space has truly come.

Guy built this “built in” from the ground up to give us the look and feel we wanted but also because it really had to be so custom with the dimensions we were working with. We went with the color Pewter Green by Sherwin Williams and we used the paint Satin Impervo by Benjamin Moore. It’s a bit more pricey but it’s got a rock hard finish which is perfect for cabinetry.

During the time that these top photos were taken we hadn’t gotten hardware yet but since we found something we felt had our signature style and went really well with the overall style of the home.

Both the styles we chose to use have the unlacquered brass finish. You can find the Mission Bin Pulls HERE and the Mission Drawer Pull HERE.

Some of my other favorite hardware:

So what’s left? Well, a whole lot of things! For starters, we need to finish painting the baseboard trim, find some curtains (not to mention, hanging them!), seal the top of the desk, organize all the files and everything else, and hang pictures! This room is somewhat of a catch all for all of our things at the moment so there are a lot of reconfiguring that needs to happen still. In due time though.
